Mortgage Co-ordinator

Role Purpose
A fundamental enabling role within the new business accountable for efficient and accurate facilitation of the end to end mortgage process for global property customers from receipt of initial fee through to customer service evaluation on closure of the case

Core Accountabilities
1. Accurately capture all enquiries into a specified tracking system enabling accurate MI on activity at a snapshot in time
2. Produce performance reports against pre-defined business KPI’s for Chief Exec as and when required
3. Proactively progress the mortgage process through anticipating any potential issues and risks and progressing these quickly with both the customer and the relevant internal colleagues as appropriate for the case
4. Critically evaluate internal work processes resulting in implementation of recommendations to re engineer process and maximise efficiency
5. Produce periodic and ad hoc reports on activity by Broker enabling performance to be tracked effectively
6. Be accountable for each case allocated through demonstrating ability to spot any errors or missing data that would slow down case progress
7. Effectively liaise with mortgage brokers to ensure tight communication and effective and efficient process management in the handover of the initial enquiry
8. Process map revised and re-engineered processes to tangibly contribute to the achievement of the balanced score card
9. Recommend and influence ways to improve the smooth facilitation of the end to end mortgage process resulting in ability to increase numbers of cases concluded within specified time period

Technical Skill Requirements
• MS Office Suite – Advanced for all applications including MS project
• Ability to process map ( not essential)
• 3-5 years of experience within an FS/legal/progression environment
• Experience of using mortgage tracking systems
• Ce Map desirable but not essential for this role

• Motivated and driven by both starting and finishing discrete cases whilst ensuring that each stage of the process is completed to the highest standard
• Self-motivated and an independent thinker who is excited by small business and excited about being part of a highly competent driven team
